PLEASE NOTE THAT AS FROM 1 JANUARY 2015 ALL OPERATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF NORTON SPORTS & SOCIAL CLUB HAVE BEEN TRANSFERRED TO NORTON SPORTS & LEISURE PROMOTIONS CIC - Further information will follow in due course.
The Sole purpose of Norton Sports & Social Club is to provide financial support to the Norton Sports Charity whose objects are:-
"To promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Norton and its surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants"
Both organisations are operated on a not for profit basis utilising the services of a large number of volunteer workers. The Officials and committee of the Social Club offer their services on a voluntary basis.
Social Club Facilities include:-
120 Seater Function Room (see Hire Facilities)
3 Lounge Areas (one overlooking the cricket field and a quiet lounge, no children - see Hire Facilities)
Snooker Room ( 1 Full Size and 1 - 3/4 Size table)
2 Large Screen TV's with Sky & BT Sports giving coverage of all major sporting events
Free Wi-Fi for the use of Members
A well stocked bar providing beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks, beverages & snacks
The club is also the 'Clubhouse' to the following organisations based at the Complex:-

The Social Club has many organised events throughout the year along with regular social and fundraising activities which are shown in the News, Events & Draws section of the website.
